Canadian Securities Tax Withholding Changes effective January 1, 2013

If you hold certain Canadian securities, please read the attached information which goes into effect on January 1, 2013.



JUST A REMINDER: SMITH HAYES can only accept checks made payable to National Financial Services LLC or "NFS". Please remember if you have an IRA in which FMTC/NFS is the custodian/trustee, contribution checks need to be made payable to National Financial Services LLC or "NFS". Should you have an IRA which is held directly at the mutual fund or insurance company, those checks should be made payable to the respective fund. Please check below for some examples of where you may have your IRA and how to make your check payable.
