Bob Kathol

Bob Kathol, an Investment Consultant, joined SMITH HAYES after the acquisition of assets of Kirkpatrick Pettis in 2002. He is a native of Hartington, Nebraska, and graduated from Creighton University College of Business Administration in June 1963. He worked as a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1963 until August 1971, where he joined Kirkpatrick Pettis working in Corporate and Municipal Finance until 1999. After joining SMITH HAYES he assumed new duties as an investment consultant in Private Client Services. Bob brings to his clients a wealth of practical business and investment experience gained in his financing and management roles since 1963. Bob is committed to the highest level of professionalism and provides superior service to his clients. He serves on the Board of Directors for American State Water, a public water utility company on the NYSE based in California that is a water distribution and waste management facility.

Bob and his wife, Bette, were married in 1996. Together, they have 11 children and 27 grandchildren. In his spare time, Bob is an avid fisherman and reads extensivly.
