Brad Knuth

Brad Knuth serves as Senior Vice President of SMITH HAYES Financial Services and SMITH HAYES Advisers, Inc. and is on the Board of SMITH HAYES Companies. He joined SMITH HAYES after the acquisition of assets of Kirkpatrick Pettis in 2002. Brad is a 1984 graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24 (Principal’s) designations. Brad is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School of Business and a member of the inaugural class of the UNL at Oxford University in England International Business program. As a 27-year veteran of the securities industry, Brad brings great range and depth of experience in serving his clients, including portfolio management, wealth management, and retirement plan consulting. Understanding that the needs of each client are unique, his focus is on meeting the financial objectives of high-net-worth families and business owners.

Brad is a committed leader and volunteer in Omaha, serving as past-president of the boards of Heartland Family Service, Future Omaha, and Happy Hollow Club. He has served on the boards of the UNL College of Business, the UNL Alumni Association, Cathedral Arts Project, and the Durham Museum. He and his wife, Amy, have two children, Emily and Anna. Brad enjoys time with his family, reading, traveling, and golfing.
