Jane Oman

Jane Oman, an Investment Consultant, began at SMITH HAYES in 2002 after the acquisition of assets of Kirkpatrick Pettis. She is originally from Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1985 with a degree in Marketing from the College of Business Administration. Jane began her investment career as a Registered Sales Assistant at Kirkpatrick Pettis in 1988. She became an Investment Consultant in 1998. Jane assists individuals and corporations to reach financial success by developing appropriate investment strategies and continuing that success for individuals throughout retirement. Her comprehensive background in the firm provides Jane with the skills to satisfy her clients' needs and provide them with superior service.

She is involved in various philanthropic activities in Lincoln and volunteers her time in the Lincoln Public School system. Jane and her husband, Scott, were married in 1985. They have two children, Phillip and Eric. Jane enjoys exercising and any activity that takes place outdoors.
