Rodney Cerny

Rodney Cerny, an Investment Consultant, began his career at SMITH HAYES in March 2011. Originally from Scribner, Nebraska, Rodney graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1974. He has held a variety of positions including Research Analyst, Director of Research, Portfolio Manager, and Chief Investment Officer, which led to his expertise in equity analysis and portfolio management. In 1979 he obtained the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Rodney has a wife, Denise, and four children. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, exercising, biking, and cheering on the Nebraska football team.

Lori Andersen is a Senior Registered Assistant and works closely with Rodney and his clients.
